BIRTHDAY 39 COLLECTION
In celebration of my upcoming 39th birthday I gift myself the assignment to draw / write what’s real for me and land it here.
June 2nd, I am a sky full of stars. I hum the Coldplay song.
June 3. I had the mandala on my mind tonight, and Netflix’s Tales by the Light playing in the back round. Realized after the design’s completion I misspelled practice, practise. Younger me would be mortified. Now me is cool with it because the process IS the practise.
June 4. I am a new beginning unfolding. I heard this today at church service and it stuck.
June 5. Two months ago I had the biggest surgery of my life on my cervical spine. The scar on my neck will always remind me. Another birthday! I am blooming into a new version of myself.
June 6-10 is in this design. Learning how to gently Parent myself everyday.
June 12. I have the power to move on.
